A quick stop on the way to Bryce and Zion National Parks. Aya found it on the map, so we thought we would check it out. Turned out to be alright, nothing too crazy or exciting. Mostly large red rock mountains. There was a “goosenecks”(river turning back around and around) area of the river that was interesting. Also near the Visitor Center there is an approx 100 year old house that is now a bakery / tourist trap. The original occupants of the house planted thousands of fruit trees in the area and currently it is the largest orchard within the National Park system. The baking contains the fruit from the orchards. A nice treat along the road, in the middle of small town terrible stores. (9$ for sandwich meat!!!)
