We stayed 2 nights in Bryce Canyon, first day was very nice weather and we checked out some of the viewpoints, but mostly relaxed after a few long days of driving. We woke up the next day and it was extremely windy. Gusting to 61 Km/ h. It was especially windy near the rim of the canyon as the wind would come up the canyon wall and hit you at the top. We hiked one trail to a few other viewpoints, but the pine trees that had recently fallen in the wind, kept us looking into the forest quite a bit. Also we went out for Breakfast to the finest establishment in town to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. (Ruby’s Inn, Bryce Canyon City) Unfortunately the finest establishment was a dump. Maybe the Subway restaurant would have been better. I didn’t think that Ebenezer’s Saloon was appropriate. But its the thought that counts….
