Finally the weather improved today. 22 Celsius and full sun. We were able to wash the car & trailer and do laundry. Then after all of that work, relaxing in the sun for awhile.

On our way up to our current RV park in Marksville we saw a sign a short distance away advertising a local Farm. After looking it up online, we learned it was a Goat Dairy Farm and was only open on Thursday’s from 2pm-6pm. So, today being Thursday we checked it out. After the 15 minute drive this is what we saw (and tasted):

The shop keeper was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about his products. This was such a cool store, and the cheese was unbelievable. There were only three flavours available as it is the end of themilking season (Plain, Jalapeno and Prailine). The Prailine is a sweet cheese and were it frozen, might be mistaken for ice cream- it was delicious.

We left with some Cajeta and Jalapeno and Praline Soft Cheese. If you are in the area, WestMar Farms is worthy of a visit.
