We are so sad to be leaving Hawaii. Hawaii is unbelievable, if you have never visited Hawaii and you are in the market for a tropical vacation, Hawaii should be at the top of your list. Forget Mexico.  There is a reason so many people love Hawaii, words cannot describe it.

We spent our Morning “working” actually making some money. Free Breakfast for two and $125 to attend a 90 minute Timeshare presentation, ok we will try this.  We turned down the “amazing offer” of only spending $40,000 for a one week in Waikiki timeshare. not to mention with the Canadian Dollar, that is more like $50,000.

Hawaii is a very popular stop for Japanese tourists, so much so that there are Japanese Language radio stations, newspapers, etc. Japanese companies have even set up shop- such as the very popular Lawson Station Convenience store chain. Convenience stores are a very big deal in Japan. Personally we prefer Family Mart.

So after the timeshare spiel was over, we of course headed to the beach.

And after the beach, back to the Royal Hawaiian / Sheraton Waikiki. Tyler was able to procure a much coveted Pink Royal Hawaiian Pool wristband. (don’t ask how, but nothing illegal, well I don’t think it was) The authority that this little piece of paper holds is awesome. You need to wear it with pride and distinction. It is a Golden ticket to all of the pool facilities.  (They do have security monitoring the facilities)

Just for the record: The Sheraton Waikiki and the Royal Hawaiian share pools as they are owned by the same family (Royal Hawaiian has an exclusive pool as well- just for pink wristbands) The Sheraton issues purple wristbands, and the Royal Hawaiian issues pink ones.

Anywho, we spent our last evening in Hawaii in style, watching the sun set from the Infinity Pool, with waves hammering the beach walk below.

check out that wristband.

Having never swam in an infinity pool before- they are amazing. Totally worth the free admission.

Car and Hotel: $50 per day

Waikiki Parking: $10 per day

Gas: $7 per day

Pool crashing a $500 +++ per night resort: priceless.
