Driving down from Redwoods to Napa Valley- there is essentially nothing other than Wineries. The roads are narrow and run around the wine fields. Many many turns, and it seems you are going in circles. We tried two places we thought we could park and sleep- neither worked out. It was 10pm and we were stuck amongst all of these wine fields….. then we can across a public school. It was Saturday night, so we figured we could get away with it. We found the darkest corner and went to bed.
I think our isolated location helped, not sure if we would try this again, but maybe if we are in a bind. We were greeted by Sunshine the next morning, the next shot is across the road from the school.
As we are driving, we decided to hit 2-3 wineries as you can only taste so much and safely drive down the road.
Check out the reflection, its Picnic time!
After lunch we headed into the Cellar to cool down
Next it was down the road to Robert Mondavi Vineyards
The grounds were spectacular.
Dinner time back at home:
Ohhh and of course the left over wine from this afternoon.
